01 / PRE-CONSTRUCTION

From opportunity
to a proposal with a purpose.

First release focus · Under development

We’re developing a connected home for the information behind your bid, from the first opportunity through the proposal you issue.

Opportunities & documents

Bid opportunities and deadlines; companies, contacts and recipients; plans, specifications, addenda and project documents.

Quantities & estimating

Takeoff and manual quantity entry; cost codes, materials, labor, equipment and assemblies; cost summaries, markups and taxes.

Proposals & versions

Proposal creation, saving, versioning and export. Protecting historical pricing and issued versions is a core development requirement.

A KEY DEVELOPMENT FOCUS

One estimate.
Different proposals.

One underlying estimate is intended to support proposals to several general contractors, each with its own scope, alternates and totals.

These are capabilities under development. Feature completion and release testing remain in progress.

02 / PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Under development

Keep the project
connected to the bid.

We’re developing project tools that carry awarded work into delivery, keeping schedules, job costing, change orders, submittals and requests connected to the estimate and project quantities.

  • Plans, specifications, RFIs, revisions and submittals
  • Change orders as project scope evolves
  • AI-assisted project schedule building from imported GC or owner schedules
  • Job costing, including labor costs from field activity
  • Connections to QuickBooks and Xero
  • Email material requests to vendors using estimate quantities
  • Request subcontractor work for the areas ready to proceed
Request what the job needs now.

If the estimate includes 10,000 square feet of rock and you need 2,000 square feet for the current phase, send the vendor a request for that 2,000-square-foot portion.

When an area is ready for seeding, request a subcontractor visit with the area and square footage to be completed.

These workflows are under development. Release timing to be announced.

03 / FIELD CREW

Under development

Give the field
a place in the picture.

A field-oriented experience is in development to connect crew assignments and labor activity to scheduled project work, with access to the project information each user is authorized to see.

  • Assign crews to scheduled work from Project Management
  • Use AI to match available crews to project schedules
  • Assess labor capacity and identify crew availability gaps
  • Clock-in and clock-out
  • Geo-tracking and labor tracking for job costing
  • Relevant plans, specifications, revisions and approved submittals
  • Information access based on user permissions
From the project schedule to the crew.

Import the general contractor’s or owner’s schedule and use AI to help build the project schedule. Then use AI to identify available crews, support assignments and assess whether there’s enough labor capacity for the jobs ahead. Field labor activity is intended to feed project job costing.

Detailed scope and release timing to be announced.

04 / AI-ASSISTED TAKEOFF

Make the plan set
easier to work through.

Under development

AI-assisted document organization is part of the development direction, with users reviewing and correcting suggestions.

Find the right sheets

Identify individual sheets, suggest disciplines, and select relevant sheets into Takeoff without uploading the same files again.

Navigate the specifications

Organize large specification books into a navigable section index to help users find relevant information.

Work through addenda

Help classify mixed addendum contents, with users reviewing and correcting the suggested organization.

Human review remains central.

Document organization and automatic measurement are different capabilities. Fully automatic quantities, complete scope detection and guaranteed accuracy are not verified product capabilities. Manual quantities remain important.

Release timing to be announced.

AI ACROSS THE PLATFORM

Under development · Timing to be announced

Your questions.
Your project context.

JobConstruct’s development direction includes connections to customers’ own AI services and an advanced in-app assistant for asking questions about their business and projects.

AI-assisted schedule building and crew availability analysis are also in development. Service compatibility, supported questions and access controls will be confirmed as development progresses.

EXAMPLE QUESTIONS FOR THE ASSISTANT

Do we have any outstanding invoices?↗
Which jobs do we have coming up?↗
How is this project tracking against its schedule or budget?↗
Do we have gaps in crew availability for current jobs?↗
Concept examples. Answers will depend on supported features, available data and user permissions.
